Waivers for Visitors and Riders

Summary

Waivers protect both the SCCA organization and local region, as well as the drivers of the cars on the track. Adults have the option of signing a waiver form at the event or getting an annual waiver. Minors must pre-sign with the assistance of all legal guardians and get approval online prior to race day – give yourself at least a week. For annual waivers, everyone needs a my.scca.com account and photograph for the account.

Waivers are required for all events, including AutoCross and RallyCross.

Adult Waiver (18+)

Adults are anyone 18 and older, and they only need to sign a waiver at the registration table on race day. You can find the registration table next to our SCCA branded equipment trailer. Once signed, you will receive a wrist band to wear so that grid workers and drivers will know you’re ready to take a ride along.

You may also create an account on my.scca.com and sign up for an annual waiver. See guide link above.

Minor Waiver (12+)

Minors that are permitted to participate as a ride along must be 12 years or older. Waivers for minors cannot be completed on race day as they require additional waiver submissions on SCCA’s website.

The general idea is that the minor must create an account on my.scca.com. Then both parents must also create my.scca.com accounts and sign the “Annual Waiver Minor Parental Consent” form for their child, including the SCCA # for the minor’s account. Then the minor must sign the “Annual Waiver Minor” form. Once approved by the SCCA, the minor should have a document in their my.scca.com account with the approved waiver as well as an email received with similar information. For more information, see guide link above.

Once you have proof of minor waiver, you can get your wrist band from the registration table. You can find the registration table next to our SCCA branded equipment trailer. The wrist band helps grid workers and drivers identify you as a permitted ride along.
